The Association is an entirely non-political body run by local volunteers. It was set up in 1980 to look after the interests of Tanworth village and its surrounding settlements.

The annual subscription is £3 per household per year, payable to any member of the Committee, or at our AGM usually held in November.  All who live in the general area of Tanworth, Danzey, Gilberts Green, Broad Lane, Poolhead Lane, Penn Lane and Aspley Heath are welcome to join.

There is a separate Residents Association covering Earlswood, Forshaw Heath and their surrounding settlements.
