‘Motor Mayhem’ Application Withdrawn

The short notice licensing application submitted to Stratford District Council on 6 December has been withdrawn – for the time being.

A licence to sell alcohol and food and to play music inside and out was sought for a field next to Wood End Farm at the junction of the Common and Broad Lane. The event is called Motor Mayhem and is planned to take place over two days in May.

We are advised the site does not need planning permission so long as it is not used for more than 28 days a year. It does, however, need a Licence. Reasons for objecting are not the same as for a planning application.

More details of how to make your views known as soon as we have them.
