Green Waste Charges from 2021

Stratford District Council will introduce a £40 charge for the collection of green waste from 1 April 2021.

If residents pre-register on the Stratford District website between 11 January and 28 February they can pay a reduced charge of £35.

Christmas Waste Collection

There are slightly revised waste collection arrangements over the Christmas and New Year period.

In some cases the collection of the Green Bin will differ from the usual day. the Grey and Blue days are normally unchanged.

Earlswood Stores Re-opens

Earlswood Stores has re-opened as a Nisa. The Post Office is fully functioning and the staff are largely as before.

Telephone ordering has also resumed. For more details ring 702286.

Many residents value this facility greatly and would not welcome having to go further afield for their day-to-day shopping.

Following the Annual General Meeting of Tanworth Parish Council held online on Tuesday 22 September there have been changes at the top.

Dave Burgess has been elected the new Chair and Tom Ross and Leila Chaudry the joint Vice Chairs. Tom Ross has said he does not intend to serve a full term.
